WGHP Hosts Telethon to Raise Money for Hurricane Relief

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

WGHP, the Tribune owned station in High Point, N.C., is hosting an in-studio telethon this Wednesday to raise money for Hurricane Florence recovery efforts.

The money raised during the 13-hour fundraiser will go to the Salvation Army’s national headquarters, and will be disturbed to communities in most need.

“We are in a time of dire need, and the people of North Carolina need to come together as one. Now, more than ever, our neighbors need our help,” said WGHP general manager, Jim Himes.
