Covering the 4th of July can get sloppy.
Just ask KTLA reporter Wendy Burch who got puked on while covering the Hermosa Beach Ironman competition near Los Angeles.
Burch was interviewing a competitor on the morning show when someone off camera got ill and projectile vomited.

The director immediately cut to the anchors in studio who had their own reaction.
