A dog got loose on a Phoenix freeway today, leading authorities on a 20 minute chase on U.S. Route 60 and causing massive backups on the state route.
Phoenix Fox-owned station KSAZ gave the chase the most attention since it had a local morning show on-air around 8:30 a.m. and also has 24 hour digital channel News Now where it can air. There’s no word how the metaphor for workers everywhere on this first day of the week got loose.
The station says the dog has no tags and authorities aren’t sure yet if dog is microchipped.
Here’s a picture of the dog after he was captured.
