Anchor-reporter Brandon Bates is leaving Knoxville, Tenn. to take a full job anchor job.
Bates posted the news on his social media accounts.
“My time in Knoxville is coming to an end. Next month I’ll be heading to Winston-Salem to tell the stories of the people in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina at @WXII,” he said.
TVSpy has learned Bates will anchor the evening newscasts for the NBC affiliate in Salem-Winston starting in June.
