The Telemundo station in Denver, KDEN, has a new MMJ.

Corina Hierro started at the station as a freelance editor and most recently worked as a production assistant.

Corina is intelligent, energetic and committed to delivering best-in-class enterprise journalism to the communities we serve,” said Andrés Chaparro, president and general Manager of Telemundo Denver.

Hierro will make her on-air debut May 1. She will join anchors Pamela Padilla and Carlos Rausseo to report for Noticiero Telemundo Denver.

She’s the winner of two Colorado Broadcaster’s Association (CBA) awards in the category “Best Breaking News Coverage Under Deadline Pressure.” She is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
