Kaylee Bowers is joining WTOL in Toledo.
Bowers announced her departure from WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee on social media by saying she’s “coming home.”
“My time at WBIR is coming to an end. In a few weeks, I will be joining the weather team at WTOL in Toledo, Ohio,” she wrote. “Being part of this business, you have to go where the job is, which can mean moving hours away from your hometown. I’ve missed so much over the years. Now, I will only be a short drive from my family & won’t have to be included in celebrations over video chat.”

She joined WBIR in August 2022. Her last day at the station is September 24.
