Josh White to Return to Jonesboro Station as News Director

Josh White has been named news director of Raycom’s Jonesboro, Ark. ABC affiliate KAIT.

Arkansas Business reports, White starts February 23. White had been assistant news director at KAIT from 2008 until leaving to be assistant news director at Raycom’s WFIE in Evansville, Ind. in 2013. He replaces former boss Hatton Weeks, who moved to Raycom’s WLBT as news director in December.

“Returning home to Region 8 to run the News Content operation at KAIT is a dream come true,” said White. “I have really enjoyed working with the team at WFIE and will deeply miss working together and I look forward to returning to the familiar faces at KAIT and getting to know the new faces too.”
