Jessob Reisbeck Returns to Milwaukee to Anchor Evening News

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

WDJT, the Weigel Broadcasting station in Milwaukee, has added a new evening anchor to its lineup, and he may be familiar to Milwaukee viewers.

Jessob Reisbeck will join anchor Natalie Shepherd and chief meteorologist Drew Burgoyne on CBS 58 News at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., as well as at 9 p.m. on WMLW The M.

It’s something of a homecoming for Reisbeck, who has held several positions in the state. He started at station WAOW in Wausau, Wis., after graduating from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. After stints in out-of-state stations, he returned to Wisconsin to serve as morning anchor at Fox6 in Milwaukee.

Most recently, he was serving as a reporter at WJLA in Washington, D.C.

“The people are what brought me and my family back to the Badger state,” Reisbeck said. “The love and support that we have received here is second to none. I’m honored to be back inside your homes and in the palm of your hands.”

Reisbeck will begin anchoring weeknights beginning in November.

“Jessob knows Milwaukee and its viewers,” said Kent Harrell, news director at CBS 58. “I respected him as a competitor because of his ability to connect with people and handle all different types of stories.”
