Jennifer Mitchell has been promoted from vice president of digital content to senior vice president of content development of ABC owned television stations.
ABC owned television station group president Wendy McMahon made the announcement today.
“This is a very exciting time in the local news and information business and I believe passionately in the power of great content to connect people. I look forward to working across the organization to enhance our collective efforts in new and innovative ways,” said Mitchell.
She will be responsible for creating, leading and executing multi-platform content and strategies across all ABC stations.
Mitchell has been with the station group for 19 years in various roles. She started at KGO-TV news in 1999 and served in a variety of roles, including senior digital producer and manager of digital operations.
