KDFW has a new weekend morning meteorologist. She’s a hometown girl.

Kylie Capps will join the Fox station in Dallas, Texas, as the Good Day Saturday and Sunday weather anchor on Nov. 5.

“Kylie is a great addition to this strong team as she has the confidence and knowledge of covering severe weather that will further enhance our team’s forecasting and coverage,” said vice president and news director Robin Whitmeyer.

During the week, Capps will produce digital and broadcast content for the digital team.

Capps comes from KXXV in Waco, Texas, and prior to that she worked at KOTV in Tulsa, Okla.
