Hearst Television has named Michelle Butt president and GM of its Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, N.C. NBC affiliate WXII.
Butt comes to WXII from Hearst’s Baltimore station WBAL, where she had been news director since 2003.
Butt was news director at WXII before coming to WBAL. She’s also worked at WTAE in Pittsburgh. Pa. and WRAL in Raleigh, N.C.
She takes over for Henry Price who was named president and GM of Hearst-owned WVTM in Birmingham, Ala.
