Brian Andrews Says He’s Leaving WFOR

By Kevin Eck

brian-andrews-600x450Gossip Extra reports WFOR anchor and investigative reporter Brian Andrews is leaving the CBS owned Miami station when his contract is up on January 31.

“There’s a lot more I’d like to do with my career than WFOR has to offer right now,” Andrews told Gossip Extra‘s Jose Lambiet. “I was told a several months back the station wouldn’t have any other opportunities for me beyond my current assignment. Still, I thank them for this opportunity.”

WFOR declined to comment on the story.

Andrews came to WFOR in 2012 after working in at RCN in Bogota, Columbia. He previously worked as a consultant for Caracol Televison, and as a freelance correspondent for CBS News, CBS Radio and The Miami Herald. He’s also worked at WSVN and CNN.
