WPMT‘s morning traffic reporter, Chris Garrett, will dive into a reporting-promotions hybrid role.
Friday will be Garrett’s last morning on the show after five years.
According to his Facebook page, “I will begin a new position with FOX43-WPMT as Feature Reporter for the Morning show and Events/Promotions Coordinator for the station. This is a wonderful opportunity for my family and I.”
Garrett was Harrisburg Magazine’s 2016 Readers’ Choice for Television Traffic Reporters.
He started doing traffic 2006 with Clear Channel/Total Traffic. Garrett took a break from traffic in 2011 to work with CBS 21 News as an assignment editor before joining FOX43.
