Greg Kelly Is Leaving Good Day New York

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Greg Kelly is signing off from Good Day New York.

TVSpy has confirmed Kelly’s last day on the air is tomorrow.

“We want to thank Greg to his years of service. He has been an integral part of the FOX 5 team and we wish him the best of luck in the future,” said FOX 5 general manager, Lew Leone.

Kelly, who is the son of former NYPD commissioner Ray Kelly,  joined WNYW in 2008 from Fox News Channel.

Sources tell us former WABC morning anchor, Lori Stokes, will replace Kelly as Rossana Scotto’s co-host on the WNYW morning show.

Stokes left ABC 7 in August after 17 years at the station.

Sources say Stokes will join the team in a few weeks. In the meantime, evening anchor, Steve Lacy, will step in.

The station will air two farewell stories as a send-off to Kelly in the 8:30 and 9:30 hours tomorrow.

Stokes is not the only New York anchor to join WNYW in the past few months. Former WPIX anchor, Sukanya Krishnan, joined the Good Day Wake Up over the summer.
