Gray Television has promoted regional vice president and general manager of WBRC, Collin Gaston to senior vice president of Gray television markets in the South, Texas and Colorado.

The station group has also named Jason Matthews as his replacement at the Birmingham, Alabama Fox affiliate. Matthews was WBRC’s general sales manager.

Gaston started his career at WTXL in Tallahassee. He’s also worked at WETV and WAWS (now WFOX) in Jacksonville. He joined Raycom Media owned WSFA in Montgomery, Ala., in 2007 as general sales manager and later spent four years as the general manager. Gray bought Raycom in 2018. He’s been the gm at WBRC for the last nine years and also oversees additional markets as a regional vice president.
