Fresno’s KSEE Set to Introduce Newscast Changes

Changes are being made at KSEE (Channel 24.1) that include a revamp of the 4 p.m. newscast, new anchor pairings and the departure of weather forecaster Colin Jackson at the end of December.

KSEE general manager Matt Rosenfeld says that early in 2011, the “KSEE24 News at 4” will become “We Are Fresno: LIVE.” The program, to be anchored by Stefani Booroojian and Faith Sidlow, won’t be a typical newscast. The program is an expansion of the station’s “We Are Fresno” campaign.

“The word ‘Live’ is about the spirit in which we will be featuring Fresno. Fresno is alive and so is this broadcast. It will cover everything that is happening and is going to happen. It’s a news and lifestyle show,” Rosenfeld says. More…
