Former BNC VP of News Gary Wordlaw Hired as News Director for Indiana Station

Gary Wordlaw has been named news director of Gray Television’s South Bend, Indiana NBC affiliate WNDU.

Wordlaw will be responsible for leading news gathering efforts on all station platforms starting May 22.

He last worked as vp of programming and news at the Black News Channel, which launched in 2020 and declared bankruptcy in 2022. Throughout his career, he’s worked as a reporter, writer, photographer, producer, news director and as president and general manager at local stations in Louisiana, Florida, Seattle and Baltimore.
