Boston Fox affiliate WFXT says it’s the first station in the market to get FAA approval to to use drones for newsgathering.
The Cox-owned station used its first drone flight to capture the areas iconic fall foliage.
The station also says “The flights will happen far from airports and crowds, and there will be a trained pilot at the controls.”
