Reporter Erin Logan has left Fox affiliate WTIC in Hartford, where she has worked for just a year.

Logan joined WTIC in December 2015 from New Haven ABC affiliate WTNH, where she had worked as a reporter, anchor and investigative reporter since joining the station in 2011.

New England One reports Logan has decided to leave TV news:

(She) will be working in sales part-time for her brother’s company while she finishes a book.

The book she is writing is about lessons learned while traveling the country as a journalist, overcoming obstacles, and learning to accept who you are and embracing it.

She also has a jewlery line she has been working on, “Lure by Logan.”
