“We are delighted to add First at Four with Alana Cerrone to our news programming, said Tina Castano, general manager. “With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting Southern New England, our viewers need timely news and information more than ever, and we are continuing to change our schedules to meet theirs. During the past five weeks Alana has driven the coverage of our breaking news reports at 4 p.m., conveying important information about the pandemic and its effects on our local community. The success of those reports during March and early April convinced us to continue the program with Alana as the lead anchor.”

Cerrone has been with the station for seven years and has been anchoring the 6 and 11 p.m. shows with John DeLuca.
