Morning anchor Emily Rau is leaving St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV next month.
“I’m not real sure exactly what I’ll be doing, but it just seemed to be the time to move on,” Rau told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Her last broadcast will be March 10.
“I do plan to stay in television,” she said. “But what form that will take, or if it’s in this market, I just don’t know. I’m open to whatever comes along.”

The Post-Dispatch reports the decision was Rau’s. “News director Scott Deiner said he ‘wanted Emily to stay, no doubt. But she has decided it is a good time to move on.'”
She started working at KMOV in 2012. Before that, she worked at WVEC in Norfolk, Virginia.
