Last week WGN reporter Marcella Raymond got a letter from a viewer telling her she had “gained too much weight.”
She posted the letter to her Facebook page and agreed with morning anchor Robin Baumgarten that some people feel like it’s OK to criticize female anchors.

To show support, her colleagues at the Chicago CW affiliate read off some of the meanest things they have been told by their adoring fans.
Baumgarten shared a letter she got that said, “Keep shoving food down that pie hole of yours; it shuts up that annoying, donkey-braying noise you make when you talk.”
