Ponce has had direct communication with her and has received updates on the passengers who have been stuck on the ship, which is docked.

He says they’re making the best of it. They even made Valentine’s for the crew. The passengers are expected to be released from the ship on Feb. 19, according to Ponce’s social media. His mother-in-law is healthy.
