The Buffalo News reports ABC affiliate WKBW has begun airing promos for a new primary anchor, Ashley Rowe, though her hiring has not officially been announced by the station:
“Happy holidays,” says Rowe in the promos. “I’m looking forward to joining 7 Eyewitness News in January and telling your stories. I’ll see you in January and I hope you have a very happy holiday season.”
Rowe is impressive enough in the promos for viewers to sample her work once she starts anchoring. Well, at least she was as impressive as you can be in 15 seconds or so.

Rowe is expected to replace Joanna Pasceri, who left the station after 22 years.
Rowe was most recently an anchor and reporter at CTV in Toronto.
