Morning traffic reporter Brandon Hamilton is saying goodbye to Phoenix’s KNXV after three years at the ABC affiliate. He was first hired as a special assignment reporter in November 2011.
Hamilton announced his departure on Facebook and Twitter on Sunday. His @bhamiltonABC15 Twitter account has already been deactivated, although his Facebook profile is still up. Here’s Hamilton’s note regarding his departure:

Prior to joining KNXV in 2011, Hamilton was a traffic reporter at Cincinnati NBC affiliate WLWT since 2008. According to FTVLive, employees at KNXV speculate that his position will not be filled. No word yet on what Hamilton’s future plans entail.
