Bayne Froney is leaving Scripps owned KXXV in Waco, Texas to join sister station WLEX in Lexington, Ky.
“Bittersweet goodbye to Texas and a big Hello to Kentucky! I’ll be joining the weather team at @LEX18News,” Froney told viewers on Twitter. “Thanks for spending your mornings with me, CTX♥️ I’ll miss you.”
Froney joined KXXV team in June 2021 as a reporter and weekend morning forecaster. Her first job was at KERO in Bakersfield, Calif., as a multi-media journalist through the Scripps Journalism Career Program.
