WVIT reporter Jamie Ratliff is leaving the Hartford, Ct., NBC owned station after nine years.
The Laurel reports that Ratliff has accepted a new job as senior media relations specialist at energy company Eversource.
“I’m so excited for this change and am looking forward to learning new skills and keeping you informed,” she wrote on Facebook. “I hope you all will stick with me. I promise to continue to post pictures of my dog as well.”
Before joining WVIT, Ratliff worked at WXXA in Albany, N.Y. She started her career in 2007 at KSBI in Oklahoma City, before moving to Texas to freelance at the Texas Channel and Fox Sports SW.
