Former WSAZ meteorologist, Josh Fitzpatrick, will resurface on television in the Charlottesville market at WVIR, NBC29.

Fitzpatrick, who left the Gray owned CW affiliate in Huntington, West Virginia over the Summer, starts in November.

“I’m excited to begin a new chapter in my career and life. I’m not going very far from home. Just to the other side of the mountains,” he said on Facebook.

Fitzpatrick was forecasting weather on WSAZ for 10 years. In 2005, he won favorite meteorologist in the market.
