Charlotte Reporter Jumps to Larger Fox Station

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

David Sentendrey is leaving the Fox station in Charlotte, N.C. for the Fox station in Dallas.

The investigative reporter will report for KDFW‘s weekday 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts.

“David’s relentless investigations have held authorities accountable and resulted in significant changes. I know he’ll bring that same passion to the work he does in North Texas,” said vice president and news director Robin Whitmeyer.

Sentendrey has a print background but most recently reporter for WJZY. He was previously a correspondent for the print and online platforms of the Enquirer Journal in Monroe, N.C.

“I wouldn’t trade my past six years at FOX 46 Charlotte for anything, but this is an opportunity to further grow and learn from a whole-new-team of respected journalists. I’ve always enjoyed my visits to the Dallas region and cannot wait to officially be a part of the community,” he said.

He will begin his new role Nov. 11.
