World News Goes Single-Sponsor Tonight

By SteveK

ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson will have a single sponsor tonight, adding approximately five minutes of editorial time to the broadcast. World News will have a single sponsor every Monday in January. The last time ABC did this was in October.

As part of that extra time, World News is continuing their “The Real 24: One Day in the Life” series, which has an ABC reporter spend 24 hours following one specific industry. Tonight, Chris Bury files his report on spending 24 hours at a Ford Motor Company assembly plant. Last week, ABC aired Bill Weir‘s report after he spent 24 hours in an emergency room.
