What Will Become of Red Eye?

Chicago Tribune is suing Fox News in an effort to get the new late-night talk show Red Eye renamed. (The newspaper publishes a free tab with the same name.)

FNC senior VP John Moody suggests having FNC “go dark on Chicago area cable systems” instead of renaming the show completely. “Other options he offered, should the publisher prevail, included reinstating reruns of ‘Fox Report with Shepard Smith’ in the slot and canceling the show outright,” The Tribune reports. “Chicago Tribune Co. lawyers indicated they want the show renamed.”
