While ABC’s Good Morning America wins another week among total viewers, NBC’s Today show won the ad-friendly A25-54 demo for the first time since the week of Christmas, 2014. Before that, Today had not won a week since the Sochi Olympics in February 2014.
Today held a +1.5 percent lead in the demo on GMA.
Meanwhile, CBS This Morning had its largest audience in 11 years (since the week of February 2, 2004). The show was up a whopping +24% in viewers vs. the same week last year. Good Morning America was down -9% while the Today show was flat year-over-year. CTM is now in its closest competitive position with the Today show in more than 20 years.
