TheBlaze saw a round of layoffs in the New York office this morning. Fewer than 10 staffers were cut, we’re told.
“As TheBlaze continues to increase its digital video production across all of its platforms, the company is replacing a handful of traditional television positions with new digital video positions,” a spokesperson tells TVNewser.
TheBlaze has also been hiring, recently naming Bill McCandless svp of video strategy and Stewart Padveen head of product.
