TheBlaze has named Bill McCandless its new svp, video strategy. McCandless will be based in NYC and report to directly CEO Betsy Morgan.
McCandless was previously an executive for Bleacher Report, Huffington Post Media Group, Vocatic, GM and TheStreet.com. He will now oversee TheBlaze’s creation and alignment of video content across platforms.
“I am excited to join the company and work with great leaders like Glenn Beck and Betsy who have always challenged the status quo in media with great success,” McCandless said.
