More Les Moonves tidbits, this time from the Hollywood Reporter: “Moonves pointed to The Early Show as a possible blueprint for the new CBS Evening News. The Early Show doubled ratings and profits in the past several years on the strength of an ensemble approach to morning news. ‘We think we can do a similar thing with the evening news,’ Moonves said.”
