Well, the network morning shows have a lead item.
The 2015 Miss Universe Pageant–with a new owner, a new network, and a new host–will go down as the one that Steve Harvey read the wrong winner. After declaring Miss Colombia as the new Miss Universe, Harvey interrupted her first walk.
“Listen, folks. Let me just take control of this,” he said. “This is exactly what’s on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake. It was on the card. The first runner up is Colombia. It is my mistake. Still a great night,” said Harvey, who then declared Miss Philippines the winner.
Following the error, the pageant ended so abruptly the moment the crown was placed on Miss Philippines’ head, was cut off.

Donald Trump sold his interest in the Miss Universe organization after he announced his candidacy for president and after NBC had cut its ties with Trump. The two had co-owned the pageants for years. The Miss USA pageant aired on Reelz network in July, while FOX got the rights to tonight’s Miss Universe pageant.
I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.
