ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday. Adrian Benjamin Colonomos was born at 11:05 a.m. in New York, and weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
It’s the first child for Zee and husband Ben Aaron.
Zee appeared on Good Morning America Friday, where she was showered with a diaper cake and said she woke up at night with wonder at the child who would transform her life. “I wake up. I feel him move and I think, ‘There’s a real human in here. This is happening.’”

Zee announced her pregnancy on GMA last June, correctly forecasting delivery for December.
