On CBS Evening News Friday night, On the Road correspondent Steve Hartman revisited the story of Breana Carsey, a young Indiana girl whose longshot of a horse kept winning harness-style races in Ohio. MJD Got Faith ended up winning the Ohio Sire Stakes championship and Breana took home $100,000.
Since Hartman’s story first aired last October, Breana got a national horse racing award and book and movie deals.
Breana’s skeptical father Brian, who indulged his daughter’s dream, went out and bought his own race horse, and named it Steve Hartman.
