Spanning the Nets

CBS, NBC, CNBC, FNC. Well, that pretty much just leaves ABC as the only commercial broadcast network that former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan hasn’t been on, yet. The 60 Minutes interview kicked things off Sunday night, then Today on Monday morning, and last night on CNBC, a one hour special with the Chairman.

If you missed it, the Maria Bartiromo special will be rebroadcast this Sunday at 10pmET. Interestingly, the special, Greenspan: Power, Money & The American Dream, was overseen by CNBC SVP Jonathan Wald. He may be wearing a manager’s hat now, but Wald knows a thing or two about producing. In a former life, Wald was the EP of NBC Nightly News and the Today show. A CNBC insider says we should be looking for more specials overseen by Wald and his team.
