The morning after Newt Gingrich angrily accused Fox News host Megyn Kelly of being “fascinated with sex,” MSNBC contributor Nicolle Wallace referenced the bizarre interview as evidence Trump surrogates are “losing their minds” as they struggle to explain how Donald Trump can win the presidency.
“Newt Gingrich screaming at the top of his lungs at Megyn Kelly about being obsessed and fascinated with sex. They’re losing their minds. They’re not acting like a campaign that’s going to close strong.”
Elsewhere, Trump adviser Dan Scavino suggested that Kelly “made a total fool out of herself” during the Gingrich interview, and then added “watch what happens to her after this election is over.”
