New Nightline Up 13% In Demo In Week 2

On Nightline’s second Koppel-less week, the ABC broadcast “grew 7 percent week-to-week among total viewers and was up 13 percent among the key adult 25-54 demographic,” ABC said this afternoon.

“Viewership among women ages 18-29 increased 20% week-to-week, and among women ages 40-49, viewership grew 50% compared to a week ago.”Compared to a week ago, Nightline posted gains in 24 markets.

For the week of Dec. 5, ABC averaged 3,580,000 viewers, compared to CBS’s 4,410,000 and NBC’s 6,670,000.
