If you’re a fan of Nancy Grace, and you happen to be a fantastic parent, you may get a chance to meet the HLN host. Grace’s “Extraordinay Parent” contest asks viewers to send in I-Reports explaining why they or someone they know are, “an extraordinary parent who serves as an inspiration to others.”
An HLN spokesperson tells TVNewser there have been more than 1,000 submissions so far. The contest ends May 1, and the winner will be flown to New York to share their story on the air.
Grace tells TVNewser, “So often the world of crime and justice is so harsh. We find many of the stories concerning missing, abused, or murdered children involve abusive parents. Our extraordinary parent contest shines a light on just the opposite — wonderful, loving, and giving parents. We could all use some good news for a change!”
