Morning Show Ratings: Week of Sept. 26

morning-tv-tvnewser_2016Good Morning America remains No. 1 in total viewers, but its performance continues to decline versus this time last year. GMA fell 10 percent in total viewers and was down 11 percent in the key A25-54 demo compared to the same week in 2015.

NBC’s Today show maintained its No. 1 ranking with younger viewers, and expanded its lead over GMA in the A25-54 category. Today improved 2 percent in the demo, but fell 4 percent in total viewers from the comparable week last year.

CBS This Morning continues to see year-over-year growth in the news demo. The show improved 9 percent in the A25-54 category, but fell 1 percent in total viewers from the same week last year.

The averages for the week of Sept. 26, 2016:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 4.420 M / NBC: 4.371 M / CBS: 3.579 M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.495 M / NBC: 1.767 M / CBS: 1.136 M
