An e-mailer asks:
“Did you catch the axed former CBS ‘rising star’ on NBC’s Early Today this morning?
Mika Brzezinski was behind the anchor desk, looking great with a sleek new hairdo and spiffy new specs… It looks like CBS’s loss is NBC’s gain.”
She departed CBS News last summer. “Mika used to hear her name uttered as a possible Rather successor, but under the new executive regime she found herself barely making it on television. Sensing the inevitable, she quit,” a tipster said at the time.
She popped up on MSNBC a few months later, reading news headlines. And now she’s on the mother network…
