The Today Show has been preparing viewers for Meredith Vieira‘s debut for several weeks. It’s been running celebrity greetings welcoming Vieira to the program, and a series of previews of the new set and new family. (Here are all the videos.)
On Tuesday, Matt Lauer said: “Meredith, if you’re watching, days of full night sleeps are” — and the whole audience chimed in — “over!” He continued: “They are over. that’s right, get up early tomorrow. We’ll see you then, and hopefully we’ll see you as well, the people viewing.”
