Bad news on Wall Street continues to be good news for the business networks.
Fox Business Network had its highest-rated month of 2015 in both total viewers and the demo during August. The big month coincides with market craziness and comes just two months after a lineup change that included Maria Bartiromo‘s show moving from 6-9 a.m. ET, Neil Cavuto moving from prime time to noon and Trish Regan hosting a show at 2 p.m. ET.
The moves seem to be paying off, Varney & Company scored the network’s highest rated month ever in total viewers from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cavuto: Coast to Coast was FBN’s highest rated 12-2 p.m. ET ever among the A25-54 demo. Lou Dobbs Tonight scored its highest rated month since May 2013 in total viewers and Risk & Reward was FBN’s most watched 5-6 p.m. show since November 2012.
