TVNewsers turned out to celebrate the release of ABC News correspondent Mara Schiavocampo’s book THINspired: How I Lost 90 Pounds — My Plan for Lasting Weight Loss and Self-Acceptance. On Amazon, the book is currently #1 in Self Help, Eating; #3 in Nutrition; #4 in Weight Loss and #55 overall.

Guests included ABC News president James Goldston, who calls Schiavocampo “a great storyteller and reporter.

Also on hand, SVPs Tom Cibrowski and Barbara Fedida; “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir, “Good Morning America’s” Amy Robach, correspondents Dr. Richard Besser, Linsey Davis, Rebecca Jarvis, “World News Tonight” EP Almin Karamehmedovic and “GMA” producers Margo Baumgart and Rachel Miskowiec. Schiavocampo, who joined ABC News from NBC News last February, was also joined by some of her former colleagues including Hoda Kotb, Thomas Roberts and Jenna Bush Hager.

“Since Mara joined us last year, she has been a breath of fresh air—bringing her signature candor and insight to her tremendous work across all of our shows and platforms,” Goldston added. “We could not be happier to have her and her family (her husband Tommie and daughter Nina) as part of our team.”

We’ll have more with Schiavocampo in a “5 Question” feature later this week.
