Last Week’s Morning News Ratings

The Today Show enjoyed its largest delivery since Nov. 2004 and its largest advantage over Good Morning America since Aug. 2004, NBC said.

For the week of Dec. 5, Today averaged 6.8 million viewers, while ABC had 5.5 million and CBS had 3.3 million.

“The week marked Today’s best delivery since the week of the 2004 Presidential Election. Today topped GMA by over 1 million viewers for the first time since October 18, 2004,” NBC said.

> Also: CBS’s Early Show “scored its best week in total viewers (3.34m) since the week of Feb. 2, 2004 and in households (2.6/8) since the week of Jan. 17, 2005. In fact, THE EARLY SHOW has delivered more than three million viewers in three of the last four weeks.”
