Jon Stewart Talks About ‘Secret’ White House Meetings

Jon Stewart joked about reports he’d made two “secret” trips to the White House to meet privately with President Obama in an appearance with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show.

Stewart noted that the visits were recorded in the White House visitor’s log, and “they took pictures of the meeting.” Asked if the President was trying to influence Stewart, the retiring Daily Show host said: “I think that was what he was trying to do because I have a television show and we sometimes say super sh—y things about him and his policies.”
