Jim Sciutto is now ABC’s senior foreign correspondent, David Westin said today. Sciutto, based in London, “will serve as lead correspondent on overseas stories, reporting for all ABC News broadcasts and platforms,” the press release said.
“In the great overseas reporting tradition of Peter Jennings, covering foreign news is an important commitment ABC News has made to our audience,” Westin said. “Jim has a unique ability to make stories come alive while providing insight into the places and events that our audience needs to understand.”
